The restaurant chain made famous for their waitresses — or their wings if its marketing is to be believed — says its largest location to date is coming to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas not far from the casino bearing the brand's name.

Hooters of America and Palms Casino announced Wednesday that a 15,200 square-foot franchise location would open by June with a poolside bar opening May.

The size outdoes a 10,000-square-foot Dallas location and planned restaurant in Thailand.

Hooters' global development executive Mark Whittle says there are no geographic restrictions in the franchise and license agreements it has that would bar the new location despite another restaurant less than three miles away inside the Hooters Casino Hotel.

Whittle says proximity shouldn't be an issue attracting customers.
