It's posh pampering, kitty style.
Having made the leap into cosmetics with Mac makeup, Hello Kitty is getting its paws further into the primping business with its first beauty spa --in Dubai.
According to its website the spa, set in 'true Parisian glamour," offers a range of treatments from massages to 'kitty-cures' ( a hand and foot massage), chocolate facials and hairdressing services.
Offering "queen" and "princess" treatments, the spa hopes to attract both young and older fans of the kitsch Japanese cartoon cat, which is on everything from book bags to toasters to restaurant fronts.
The over-the-top pink kitty interior was designed by a Tokyo-based artist, Miyuki Okamura, and also includes a "Kitty Cafe", which sells baked goods, teas, juices and Hello Kitty cupcakes.
After all, they claim to be "all about sugar, spice and everything incredibly nice!"
