In a recent interview, Meghan Trainor revealed that she'll be lending her talents to the soundtrack for The Peanuts Movie, an upcoming animated film that chronicles the adventures (and misadventures) of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang.

Trainor says the track is called Feel Better When I'm Dancin' and is all about having a positive self-image, a topic that makes the songstress feel right at home.

"They wanted a song about confidence and knew I was good at writing those," said Trainor. "I feel better when I'm onstage dancing and having fun, so I wrote about that!"

The musician seems happy to be on board and Snoopy and Co. seem smitten as well, so much so that @SnoopyGrams, the Peanuts gang's official Instagram account, recently gave Trainor her very own Peanut. Check out the embedded tweet below.

We prefer peanutified to peanutized, but, either way, the character looks great.

The All About that Bass singer agrees and told People, "They sent me the first version and I said, 'Don't touch it, it's perfect.' It's the background on my phone!"

She also teased a "new girl" on the block, saying "no one knows about [her] yet, but I do!"

The Peanuts Movie hits theaters November 6, 2015 with Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift, Horton Hears a Who!) directing and the screenplay co-written by Bryan Schulz and Craig Schulz, Peanuts Creator Charles M. Schulz's grandson and son respectively. The film will hope to engage new fans while providing a satisfying dose of nostalgia to long-time devotees, a tall task with such a beloved franchise.
