Police say a Minneapolis woman has been sexually assaulted at her residence for the second time in three weeks.

The 32-year-old woman says she was assaulted for the second time on Wednesday afternoon when she opened her back door and a man forced his way into her home. He then left.

She says it was the same man who beat and assaulted her on April 23 in her detached garage.

The Minneapolis Police Sex Crimes Unit is investigating and the Police Department will put additional resources into the area near Standish and Corcoran.

The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall, 20 to 40 years old and with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt and jeans.

Residents are asked to call 911 to report suspicious behavior in the area.
