A quick trip around Hannity's America...

In the Liberal's Den

A brave young conservative named Jason Mattera recently went undercover at a pro-Barack Obama rally in Virginia, and he encountered some of the finest liberal protesters in all the land!

Here is a small part of his hilarious experience:

(YELLING)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Selfish people!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Selfish right-wingers! They want to keep their damn money! They're selfish! F--k you!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You said we want to keep their damn money?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They want to keep their damn money.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, OK. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I'm saying they don't deserve their money.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I'm sorry. I'm just upset.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I actually like how the mainstream media has been reporting that conservatives are the ones with the Obama Hitler signs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yeah, that's true.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Right? It makes our case very much better.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It helps a little bit.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It does.

Hypocrite in Chief?

Politicians are known for hypocrisy and double dealing. But in this field, Representative Charlie Rangel takes the cake.

The New York congressman serves as the chairman of the all-powerful House Ways and Means Committee — the committee that writes our tax laws –- and according to the New York Post, he slipped a provision into the health care bill that would do the following:

• Bar the IRS from waiving certain penalties in the event of good faith errors
• Impose double fines in certain circumstances
• Punish those who fail to alert the IRS to tax exemptions

Based on this, you might think that Charlie Rangel is really a dutiful taxpayer, but you'd be surprised to find out that the House Ethics Committee is investigating him for tax evasion!

This is a case of Democratic hypocrisy at its worst.

Argggggggh!

And it's another case of government waste that will make your blood boil: The Chicago Tribune reports that a deal is under way to send billions of your tax dollars the island of St. Croix. That's where the British company Diageo PLC — the biggest distilled spirits maker in the world — is going to build its state of the art distillery.

So why are we funneling billions of dollars to a foreign company?

Well, Diageo produces Captain Morgan's rum, which like all rum is subject to a special tax in the U.S. That brings Uncle Sam a lot of money.

So it's not hard to figure out why we're footing the bill for this new venture. I guess it's better to force you to line the pockets of the biggest liquor producers in the world than lose that tax revenue.

Ad Controversy

A disgusting global warming advertisement is circulating on the Internet. Take a look at the picture above. According to the New York Daily News, the ad was created by the DDB Brasil Advertising Agency for the World Wildlife Fund.

The caption of the ad says, "The tsunami killed 100 times more people than 9/11. The planet is brutally powerful. Respect it. Preserve it."

Although this ad was sent to the World Wildlife Fund for consideration, they claimed it was immediately rejected. A spokesperson said, "WWF strongly condemns this offensive and tasteless ad and did not authorize its production or publication."

As Americans prepare to mark the 8th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I think the people behind this ad owe all of us an apology.

The Slide Continues

The president's downward slide in the polls appears unstoppable. According to a new CNN poll, a majority of independents are now disapproving of how the president is handling his job by a double-digit margin of 53-43 percent.

I guess Americans aren't as excited about the government taking over their health care as the president thought they'd be.

What a surprise.
