An Hispanic marketing company in Miami wants you to put your best face forward — that is, your best white face forward.
It has created blonde "gringo masks" to protest Arizona's immigration law. They can be downloaded for free.
The designers maintain "the spirit in which we conceived Gringo Mask was not to offend anyone. We wanted to start a dialogue."
Lights, Camera, Action
It's not a Hollywood sound stage, but a Haitian film crew is shooting a soap opera in the Port-au-Prince tent camps set up after the devastating earthquake.
The project is funded by the United Nations, which is paying about $6,000 per episode. The series follows the travails of a homeless family and includes educational messages provided by U.N. peacekeepers.

A suburban New York sheriff's office says two dog owners got into a fight at a park over the way their pets were playing.
A third man tried to break up the argument and was bitten by one of the men on his wrist. The case is still being investigated.
