Prosecutors will not file trespassing charges against a photographer arrested outside a Malibu preschool that Angelina Jolie's adopted son was attending.

There was insufficient evidence to prove that Clint Brewer stepped on school property while trying to photograph 4-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office.

Brewer, 25, was arrested June 22 after he was seen hiding in bushes and photographing the church-based preschool, authorities said.

His arrest came about two weeks after Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, returned to Malibu from Namibia, where she gave birth to their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

The couple have two older children, 18-month-old Zahara, adopted from Ethiopia, and Maddox, adopted from Cambodia.

Both Maddox and Zahara's surnames were legally changed to Jolie-Pitt after Pitt announced his intention to adopt the children.
