• President Bush said today that he would withhold judgment about top aide Karl Rove's involvement in leaking the identity of a CIA (search) agent until a federal criminal investigation into the matter is complete. This, while there are multiple Capitol Hill declarations for his removal. Carl Cameron reports.

• Plus, Megyn Kendall has the latest on Chief Justice William Rehnquist's (search) condition after he was taken to hospital last night with a fever.

• And for the first time since President Bush (search) took office, an unpredicted leap in tax revenues is about to shrink the federal budget deficit this year by nearly $100 billion. Jim Angle reports.

• Then, Catherine Herridge takes a look at Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff (search) plans for a wide-ranging restructuring of the two-year old department to emphasize preparing for the most catastrophic of events, securing borders and protecting the transportation of people and goods.
