• Israeli officials are warning that Iran is seeking more than one nuclear bomb and that it will attain nuclear independence in a matter of months. Meanwhile, the Russian government today confirms that it sent a nuclear proposal to Iran, despite Iran denying that it received it. Wendell Goler has the latest.
• And, the United Nations declares last week's Iraqi elections credible. This comes despite continuing accusations of fraud by Sunni Muslim and secular parties who are demanding a rerun of the elections. Correspondent Steve Centanni is at the Pentagon with all of the latest new from Iraq.
• Then, defense attorneys representing terrorism suspects are planning to bring legal challenges to find out whether their clients were monitored by the National Security Agency. The expected challenges add to the controversy over the agency's surveillance program. Megyn Kendall has the report.
• Plus, will the revelation that the NSA is spying on Americans lead to overturning the convictions of suspected terrorists? For analysis we’ll turn to Robert Turner, the associate director of the Center for National Security Law at the University of Virginia.
• Also, Republicans currently hold a majority of the governors offices, and have done so since 1994. But, more Republican governors are up for reelection in 2006 than Democrats. Even Republicans admit the math is not in their favor and they are going to have to work very hard not to lose seats. Correspondent Major Garrett reports on the races at stake.
• And William LaJeunesse takes a look at City Councilman Bobby Shriver, who has introduced some innovative ways to combat homelessness in Malibu.
