A strange thing has happened over the last few days: some government and Pentagon officials have started using the term "Global Struggle Against Violent Extremism" in place of "Global War on Terror." This is not an official change in terminology, though it has been characterized as such in some media organizations. Chief White House Correspondent Carl Cameron breaks it down.

Plus, a roadside bomb near Haditha, Iraq, killed 14 Marines just after an attack in the same area on Monday that resulted in the death of six Marine snipers. Defense Department officials say the increasing attacks may be a result of operations against insurgents. FOX National Security correspondent Bret Baier is following the story from the Pentagon.

Then, Iran says it hopes to resume work at a uranium conversion plant by early next week, making that announcement on the same day that that Iran's new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (search) takes office. FOX's Major Garrett reports from Washington.

We’ll also talk with Ken Pollack, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution about Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

And, do pharmacists have the right to refuse to dispense morning after pills (search) and other birth control prescriptions? Congress is considering legislation requiring pharmacies to provide those prescriptions while some states have specifically given pharmacists the right to refuse to dispense medication if they oppose it on moral or religious grounds. Megyn Kendall has a report.

Also, Judge John Roberts (search) submitted the answers to the Senate Judiciary Committee's questionnaire Tuesday night. Roberts wrote extensively about judicial activism versus judicial restraint; Jim Angle takes a closer look at Roberts' answers.

Before the days of air conditioning, Washington was considered a hardship post because of its humid, swampy climate. The Congress and the president still leave the city, but only for the month of August, and not the entire summer. Brian Wilson takes a look at the deserted city as it begins its worst month.
