I want to have a conversation with you on something that I've been thinking about recently a lot. People say to me, where is George Washington, Glenn? Where is the next leader?

I don't know. I don't know. But before there was Washington, there was Whitefield. Whitefield, he was a preacher. We did a special on him. He was cross-eyed, pudgy. I mean, but Whitefield led to Washington, OK?

There's always a spiritual awakening, a spiritual element to any great change. And if there is not, if God is cut out of it, it always ends the way that it ended in France with Robespierre. I mean, our Founders were even fooled by Robespierre. It's a subtle difference. But without God, there is bloodshed and guillotine. It just happens that way all the time.

Societal change always comes with God first: the Founders — it was an awakening; the pilgrims — it was a spiritual thing; civil rights movement; Abraham Lincoln and freeing of slaves — it started in churches. That's why the White House is using social justice now for the churches. That's why they got to get in there. They got to merge the EPA.

The best example of change and what God can do to a country is probably Russia. The change in Russia — the collapse of Soviet Union as we know it — came with a Whitefield. But his name wasn't Whitefield, it was Pope John Paul. He was part of the perfect storm back then.

The perform storm then included war with Usama bin Laden, just like we have it now; spending themselves into oblivion, because Reagan had Star Wars and Margaret Thatcher was on the other side, and John Paul — John Paul awakening the spirit, setting a fire in Poland — the fire of the spirit.

And Russia didn't collapse. It was transformed, fundamental transformation. We are repeating history right now. We are repeating it. Yeltsin of the Ukraine, Belarus, they all got together in the woods and they decided what the Russian federation would be.

Then they came back and Yeltsin gave the Duma an hour to vote and said, I got news for you, you can either — you can either be killed by the people outside because we destroyed the country. It's over. We spent ourselves into oblivion. And the people are wide awake. So, we can either face them and you can fight for communism, or we can all go into the other room, change our uniforms, and pretend we're part of them. And we'll have fundamental transformation.

And you, you, Mr. Colonel of the KGB, take off the uniform, put a suit on. Who knows, you could be president. And he was.

When the Berlin Wall fell down, we went to sleep. And that's when the enemies of freedom in America went to work. We're facing a perfect storm now, just like Russia did.

We have Islamic terror. Just like Russia had with Usama bin Laden. I mean, it's the same guy; Islamic terror.

We have corruption unlike anything we've ever seen. We have socialism and communism. I read a Web site today from — I think it was the Communist Party USA — they're taking credit for a lot of the victories recently in the elections here in the last week. I mean, did you even know these guys were around anymore? They're rearing their ugly heads, revolutionaries and anarchists. The G-20 people. The people like Van Jones.

We have faith. We have a fundamental misunderstanding of faith. We don't have faith, really, anymore. Some do, some do, but our churches are dying out. I think it's because the churches don't stand for anything anymore.

Everything is just relative — well, it's not relative. It's not. There are absolutes in life. There are things that absolutely suck but you've got to do them.

Our faith is deteriorating. It's being pushed that way. It's pushed by progressives. That was part of their plan.

And so, we don't go to church anymore. And one reason why we don't go to church is because now it's becoming one with politics. Don't tell me who to vote for. What happened to the priests and the pastors? Demand that your pastor start teaching the difference between an individual right and a collective right. Collective rights end the same way France did with guillotines and blood. Individual rights, that's the thing that we had that was unique.

Civil unrest — now that's different. This is different than revolutionaries and anarchists. It's the Tea Party. It's you and me. We're upset. We're pissed off. Look at what is happening to us!

Revolutionaries and anarchists are the people like SEIU. These are the people that are lighting fires all around the world. These are the unions and the revolutionaries that want to destroy.

Media — do you trust the media? Do you? Is there anybody — even me
— do you trust me?

Banks — financial. Do you trust the banks anymore?

We have conquered each of these problems individually, but never all at once. And they know that. Our enemies now, the enemies of freedom, they're doing five things:

One, they're laundering people. Bill Ayers — how is the guy who blew up the Pentagon and police in the 1960s, how is the guy on September 11 in The New York Times said, you know what? We didn't do enough. I don't regret blowing things up. How is that guy working for schools and speaking at universities? How?

He's been laundered. He's been made legitimate. Take the T-shirt off, put on a suit and tie. Does anybody even talk about his partner? The co-creator of the Weather Underground, part of the Apollo Alliance in New York, spending and designing the stimulus package in New York. Van Jones, a communist revolutionary who calls for a revolution. He's been laundered and made clean.

Then they also laundered ideas. Redistribution of wealth, it's become global warming. That's all it is. Organized crime has become community organizing. That's all it is.

The third thing they did is connect with business, labor, the outcasts
— I guess they have labor there twice — ACORN, communists, anybody — anybody. The idea is: The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

This country, our Founders — they'll let you keep the trappings of it, but they don't want to — shut these people up.

Then they had to complete the 1915 progressive plan which was: Destroy our faith, our founders, and our Constitution. You know how they're doing that?

Destroying our faith. Look at this: A school book, OK? Page from a school book — Declaration of Independence, from McDonald Publishing. Declaration of Independence. It says here, the declaration expanded these ideas that all men are created equal and they are endowed — dot, dot, dot — with certain unalienable rights.

Endowed by whom? Dot, dot, dot? We have reduced "God" to "dot, dot, dot"?

They have to destroy our Constitution, our founders, our faith. And now, they're creating the civil rights movement and everything. I talked to you about this last week.

This time, though, the radicals, the people that — the people that used to call our police officers pigs. They don't call them pigs anymore. What was it Van Jones said? "Drop the radical pose for the radical ends." So, they don't have to say "pig" anymore. Instead they say, "I don't have any of the facts but the police acted stupidly." Well, I'd rather have people call the police officers "pigs" so at least we know who they are.

They don't call the military "baby killers" anymore. The very same people that used to call our military "baby killers" are now the people at the top. They're now the people in charge. They don't call them baby killers anymore. No, no, no. Instead now they say, we're going to give you a medal for restraint.

For restraint? That's what our military does every day. What are you talking about? You're going to give the medal for what they're saying is baby killer, don't kill any babies today.

The radicals are at the top. Now, who's in place of the radicals? You are. You are.

There's a revival going on in America and the left hates it. Oh, they hate it!

Remember I told you about "George Washington's Sacred Fire" last week? It's been number one for the last week. The number one book on Amazon.com.

This now from Media Matters, the left-wing George Soros-funded media machine that is now referring to me as a jihadist:

"How does a 4-year-old tome by a little known leader of a seminary published by a small unknown outfit dealing with the religious beliefs of a figure who has been dead for two centuries coming in at a staggering 3.2 pounds in paperback, or 1208 pages become a number one best-selling book? If you don't know the answer by now, you haven't been paying attention. Two-word explanation: Glenn Beck."

I say it's one word: God.

How about this word: Revival. A revival is happening.

And who can we blame this on? You. You are waking up. There's a choice. You know it. You can live in the lie or you can stand in the fire of truth.

I want to show you a couple of things. First, headline from The Washington Post today. Here it is. "One false move in Europe could set off a global chain reaction."

Gee, who said that? I said that three years ago. I said look for an "Archduke Ferdinand moment." There is going to be a moment in time with the perfect storm. People will dismiss it, they don't even know what it means, but it will set the world on fire.

Welcome to the party, Washington Post.

How about this one? Weiner is on Bill O'Reilly tonight because I'm a fear-monger and Congress should investigate me fear-mongering.

How about Time magazine — in an article titled "Today in Economic Grimness" — notes "Jobless claims rise by largest amount in three months"; "Paul Krugman speculates America is becoming a lost decade"; and here's the last one: "The brooding Nouriel Roubini says cash is the place to be, with possibility of another 20 percent market drop on the horizon."

But it's not just these clowns. It's politicians, too. This is Bill Clinton at Yale this weekend. Watch:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON: The world that you live in for all of its joys has three problems not much every in evident here today. It is too unstable. It is too unequal and it is completely unsustainable.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Got it? It's unstable. Panic! It's unequal. Fix it. And it's completely unsustainable. It will collapse.

Not only is he preaching fear here, he's preaching lies, distortion, and corruption. This has nothing to do with CO2. It has everything to do with lies, but they're starting just to tell you the truth now. He says the world is too unequal. Hmm.

What did Martin Luther King march for? Equal rights. That's what I always thought. That's why we gave a holiday to the man. Standing up, fighting for equal rights, equal justice.

Not according to Al Sharpton. Now they're changing history:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REV. AL SHARPTON, CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST: Someone was saying to me the other day: Reverend Sharpton, we've got an African-American president. We've achieved the dream of Dr. King.

And I told him, that was not Dr. King's dream. He's a great man. I've been working with the president and supported the president. But the dream was not to put one black family in the White House. The dream was to make everything equal in everybody's house.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TARP is not going to work. The bailouts are not going to work. Just hiring somebody else to go to Washington and be a new politician — like Scott Brown — that's not going to work.

There is a fire that has started in America, a sacred fire that has started in America.
