Sharon Stone Suddenly Stick-Thin, Snaps Over Calling Chinese Earthquake "Karma"

Sharon Stone managed to turn quite a few heads when she stepped out at the L.A Gay & Lesbian Center’s "Evening With Women" soiree in Beverly Hills over the weekend, looking suddenly super-skinny.

The 51-year-old actress showed off protruding collar and hip bones beneath her figure-hugging coral Herve Leger dress, causing many to whisper and wonder how the skinny (yet smiling) starlet had shed so many pounds so quickly. Just a few months ago, Stone was snapped significantly larger as she strutted through LAX, but it looks as though she’s now fallen prey to the Tinseltown regime.

But when asked by Pop Tarts about whether her feelings for the Chinese had changed since she infamously told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival last year that the Sichuan earthquake (which killed more than 80,000 people) could have been "karma" because of how China had treated the Tibetans, that trademark temper of hers surfaced.

"That’s not what I said. I think you are behaving ridiculously," she snapped before storming off.

Hmmm, not what she said? Sorry Sharon, its on video in case you need reminding and we quote:

"I’m not happy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," she said last year. "Then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice, that the bad things happen to you?"

Kiefer Sutherland is no stranger to brushes with the law, but could the "24" actor be up for yet another serious charge? Last year Sutherland spent 48 days in jail after pleading no contest to a DUI arrest in 2007, his second in less than three years. But despite being on probation in California, the real-life Jack Bauer looks as though he may have messed up again.

Sutherland was reportedly intoxicated and "head butted" designer Jack McCollough, giving him a bloody nose at the Costume Institute Gala at the Met Museum of Art on Monday. The designer apparently bumped into Brooke Shields and refused to apologize, tipping Sutherland over the edge of anger.

According to People.com, the matter is in "the hands of authorities" in what McCollough believes was an "unprovoked, vicious attack." Reports on Wednesday evening also predicted that Sutherland would surrender to authorities as early as Thursday to face a minor assault charge.

"If a charge is pressed, he would obviously have the right to a trial and prove that he is innocent," Beverly Hills Criminal Defense Attorney Randolph W. Wright told Tarts. "It all depends on the judge; everything stands on its own."

However if Sutherland is charged with assault or battery resulting in a probation hearing, his probation could be extended or face additional punishment such as possible incarceration and/or fines. "Our office intends to contact the NYPD and New York prosecutors to review the incident and determine whether Mr. Sutherland violated probation," L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan told People.com.

"Some misdemeanors carry six months or more in jail, or he could be given community service. But Kiefer could potentially have a big problem," explained Wright. "Especially if drinking was involved, the judge isn’t going to like that. He better hope they (McCollough) doesn’t press charges, this could be a very big problem for him."

Reps for Sutherland and McCollough refused to comment on the alleged altercation, however Shield’s rep knocked down reports that the actress was (literally) knocked down.
