New Mexico (search) police say the wife and son of a soldier in Iraq (search) are among the dead in a traffic accident.

Police say the driver was the only survivor of the Saturday truck wreck.

A State Police lieutenant says Mario Trujillo had at least three prior drunken-driving convictions and was driving on a revoked license.

The officer says it looks like Trujillo lost control and overcorrected -- causing the truck to flip several times. All five passengers were thrown from the truck.

New Mexico National Guard (search) spokeswoman says the wife and seven-year-old son of a Guardsman serving in Iraq died. The official says the couple has another daughter -- who was not in the truck.

Trujillo has been booked on five counts of homicide by vehicle.

Authorities were testing his blood for alcohol and the results were not immediately available, Werick said.
