DALLAS – Ten children and two adults were taken to Dallas hospitals as a precaution after their school bus collided with another vehicle.
The bus was taking students to Jean Massieu Academy in Arlington when the 7 a.m. accident happened on a Loop 12 frontage road, near Mountain Creek Lake. The academy is a charter school for hearing-impaired students.
The 12 bus occupants were taken to hospitals mostly as a precaution. Only two students complained of any symptoms, said Dallas Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Sherrie Lopez. She said the woman who was driving the other vehicle also was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
