Atlantic City, NJ – Lou Neglia's Ring of Combat put on yet another great show in Atlantic City's Tropicana Casino Hotel, and Lou told Fox News the promotion has been awarded five more shows for 2009.
Among the winners at this event were heavyweight Joe Abouata and 185 pounder Rafel Sapo. UFC fighter Kurt Pelligrino had two fighters from his new training facility, located in Belmar, NJ and went one-for-one for the night.
Ring of Combat's "been around forever," said Kurt's wife, Melissa Pelligrino. "They've been producing huge fighters, Kurt fought here years ago, Matt Serra."
