A New York City doorman charged with hurling glasses into a woman's face last Friday also permanently disfigured a Vogue model in a bar fight last year, the New York Post reports.

Samir Dervisevic, 25, was arrested and charged with felony assault after allegedly whipping three glasses into a woman's face. Last year, he was sentenced to a month in jail and three years probation for injuring Liskula Cohen at a Manhattan bar.

The 5 foot, 10 inch model, who has graced the pages of Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar, told the Post that the fight began when Dervisevic's friend picked up a bottle of vodka that had been served to her table and poured himself a drink. When Cohen protested, the doorman smashed a bottle of vodka across her face.

"I went to the bathroom and I saw my whole career go down the drain. I looked in the mirror and saw a hole in my face the size of a quarter," she said. "I've been a model my whole life, and I've never had another job."

The model, who received 46 stitches to close the gaping wound, said she has had trouble finding work after the incident because of the scars.
