TomKat will soon be welcoming a little TomKat into their lives, according to People.com.

The pair — nicknamed TomKat — began dating in April and gushed about each other incessantly in interviews conducted in the two months leading up to their engagement atop the Eiffel Tower.

During one infamous appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” (search), Cruise jumped for joy, literally, over the back of Winfrey's couch and told her he’d never been as much in love as he was with Holmes.

The actor, who aside from his long movie career has also become famous for his involvement with the Church of Scientology (search), is currently filming “Mission: Impossible 3” and recently starred in “War of the Worlds,” which was out earlier this year. Holmes’ big break came with the teenage TV drama “Dawson’s Creek.” She also starred in “Pieces of April” (2003) and “Batman Begins,” which was released this year.
