YUCAIPA, Calif. – Thousands of hogs rolled into town on Friday for a hell-raising event: the Hells Angels’ 60th birthday, MyFoxLA.com reported.
The bikers gathered in Yucaipa, Calif., to celebrate the club’s founding at an event at the Angels Roadhouse Bar & Grill, which accommodates 2,200 people; some 4,000 were expected to be at the seven-hour bash and the public were allowed in for a $20 cover charge.
Police were out in force and said there was a zero-tolerance policy in effect; Hells Angels could be seen pulled over outside the roadhouse because news cameras were not allowed inside, MyFoxLA.com reported.
The motorcycle club’s first chapter was established in 1948.
