For years, Scarlett Johansson has been dubbed Woody Allen’s, muse and while the veteran director greatly admires his "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" starlet, he made it quite clear to Pop Tarts that Johansson is not his central source of inspiration.

"It is silly — she’s in no way my muse, but she is one of the great American actresses," Allen said at the film’s recent Los Angeles premiere.

And while the newly engaged Johansson said she hasn’t started planning her wedding to Ryan Reynolds just yet, she did tell Pop Tarts that learning to love another special somebody was the first challenge she had to overcome before committing herself to someone else.

"I'm just a big believer in 'you must love yourself before you can love anybody else,' and I think for me that breeds the most inspired relationships," Scarlett said. "It's hard for me to have any proclamation about the right kind of love or how to love, because relationships are so complicated and there are so many ways to love. On one hand, there's obsessive love and committed love and the love that friends just have for one another."

Then there’s the love for one’s homeland. Johansson certainly spends a great deal of time abroad as an ambassador for the United Nations and as one of the most in-demand actresses, but when she’s out of the country, the starlet finds herself craving the "civilization" of the USA.

"I'm always so happy to come back to the States," she said. "I was born and raised in New York, and so for me coming back home I'm like, 'ahhh, civilization!' I have such a nice association coming back to a city that I love — L.A. too. I'm always happy to be back in the U.S."

Romance Rekindled: Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling Get Cozy in Canada

It looks as though things are back on with "The Notebook" lovers Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. Tarts has been told that the screen stars were acting very "couple-like" while dining at Toronto’s ultra-intimate Grace Restaurant on Monday night. The two were apparently holding hands throughout their dinner and left smiling.

McAdams and Gosling started dating shortly after filming "The Notebook" in 2004, but split last May.

"The fans were more upset (about the break-up) than I was," Gosling told GQ magazine.

Vandals Have Unkind Word for Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller returned to London on Wednesday to discover vandals had spray-painted the word "slut" across the side wall of her home.

The "Casanova" starlet had been (controversially) living in up in Los Angeles over the past couple of weeks with actor Balthazar Getty, who is separated from Rosetta Millington, with whom he has four children.

But this isn’t the first time Miller has been dubbed the "other woman." Sienna was thrown into spotlight back in 2003 when she started seeing her "Alfie" co-star Jude Law while he was reportedly still with his wife, actress/fashion designer Sadie Frost.

Sienna stayed silent as she was followed through LAX to catch her departing flight, but when one pap piped up and referred to her as a homewrecker, Miller spat back and insulted the photogs about their occupation.

David Spade's Naughty Night at Hollywood Club

It seems David Spade got lucky at new Hollywood hotspot The Kress last Saturday night — but did he even wait to leave the premises before letting the good times begin?

We're told Spade was out with pal Kevin Farley before devoting all his attention to an unidentified hot blonde in a barely-there dress. We're told the two were "all over each other" while the "Just Shoot Me" star continued to order several bottles of Dom Perignon to impress his lady friend. After a little while, the couple reportedly opted for a little privacy and closed the curtains of their VIP cabana for a good 30 minutes of privacy...
