It is hard to imagine that Katharine McPhee was ever an outcast, but it turns out that the stunning “American Idol” runner-up (who admittedly battled eating disorders growing up) had to overcome a few social issues to become the woman she is today.

“I struggled with weight in high school — there were definitely times when I didn’t want to hang out with the cool kids,” McPhee told Pop Tarts while promoting the upcoming flick “Bunny House,” in which she plays a pregnant, not-so-trendy college kid.

“I just wanted to be in the library and by myself. Everyone has a moment in life where they feel not comfortable in their own skin or connected to the popular group," she said. "I had friends; I was just friends with different people."

McPhee used two different bellies for “Bunny House," her first major role in a feature film.

"One was prosthetic and one was a preggy pad that connects at the crotch area and is quite uncomfortable in the dead of summer,” Katharine explained.

While the movie is a big step in her professional life, it seems to have made an even greater impact on the songstress’s personal life.

“Before I got married, I thought I wanted to have kids right away, but then something changed and I was like ‘No!' I think it had something to do with that belly.”

Joe Francis Releases Ashley Dupre’s 'Girls' Tape

Now that Ashley Dupre has dropped her $10 million lawsuit against “Girls Gone Wild,” founder/CEO Joe Francis has decided to air his provocative video of Eliot Spitzer’s alleged call girl, which was shot during spring break of 2003.

“She clearly filed her lawsuit just for publicity,” he said in a statement. “Now that the distraction of this frivolous lawsuit is behind us and I have been vindicated, yet again, we’ve been given the green light to provide her with all the public exposure she could ask for.”

Dupre reportedly lied about her age and provided false identification, which is why “Girls Gone Wild” did not previously make the footage available to the public. In March, she filed suit against the company with claims that they ruined her reputation, but she withdraw the suit last Friday.

Pammy Goes for Tommy Lee Look-Alike While Paris Loses Her Party Persona

It's hard to grasp the fact that Pamela Anderson just turned 41 (especially seeing as though she donned a girly pink dress for her party at Vegas hotspot LAX on Saturday). But it comes as no surprise that she took quite an interest in "Mindfreak" sensation Criss Angel, who happens to sport that same shaggy-haired rocker style made famous by her on again/off again lover Tommy Lee.

The former "Baywatch" babe was spotted on the VIP stage whispering in Angel's ear and giggling before celebrating with a birthday kiss. She was then serenaded with a club-wide rendition of "Happy Birthday."

Anderson’s old colleague from her days of running up and down the beach in slow motion, actor Jeremy Jackson, also stopped by the bash to give her his well wishes.

Across the Strip at Planet Hollywood’s Prive nightclub, Paris Hilton was surprisingly subdued —perhaps she wasn’t paid to party on this occasion. We’re told the hotel heiress clung to her beau Benji Madden all night, refused to leave his side, would dance only with him and took just a couple of small sips of alcohol.

But just seconds after Hilton and Madden left, her former flame Stavros Niarchos came through with a pack of pals. Apparently his entrance was well-timed as he didn’t want to have to come face-to-face with his ex and her new man.

He’s Just Not That Into You: Long and Barrymore Split

Just a couple of months ago, a pal of Drew Barrymore and Justin Long thought that marriage may have been in the cards, but after a year of dating, the co-stars of “He’s Just Not That Into You” have called it quits.

Barrymore’s rep confirmed the break-up but refused to provide any additional comment. The Tinseltown twosome made no secret of their relationship, often appearing very cozy in public together. Earlier this year, Barrymore told Tarts that Long is the ultimate boyfriend because “he always just makes [her] laugh.”

'The Sopranos' to Do a 'Sex in the City'?

It seems "The Sopranos" may very well be following in the footsteps of fellow hit HBO series "Sex and the City" by coming to the big screen.

Cast members including James Gandolfini, Michael Imperioli and Tony Sirico attended a recent Charityfolks.com soiree in New York and raised $70,000 for the Baldwin family cancer fund by auctioning off dinner with the star-studded cast.

Sirico reportedly mentioned to other attendees that creator David Chase and Gandolfini are currently in talks with Paramount CEO Brad Grey about doing the big pic with a release slated for 2010.
