LOS ANGELES – Ever wonder what it takes to bunny-hop your way into the centerfold of Playboy magazine?
Hugh Hefner said his selection formula hasn’t changed since he conceived the men’s mag back in 1952.
“We don’t go for glamour — what we are looking for is a very natural girl-next-door look,” he told Pop Tarts. “I think that’s what set things at the very beginning — what set the Playmate centerfolds apart.”
Hmm, “natural” isn’t usually what comes to mind when one thinks of the busty, blond gals who grace the glossy, or Hef's girlfriends for that matter.
But when it comes to who Hef thinks are the hottest women in the world right now, there aren’t too many men (or women) who would disagree.
“Scarlett Johansson and Angelina Jolie,” he said.
Speaking of Johansson, being Woody Allen's unofficial muse has inflated her ego, the New York Post's Page Six gossip column reports. A source says producers of "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" grumbled that "Scarlett isn't the same ... She's turned into the biggest prima donna."
K-Fed Meets Maddie, Brit Throws Birthday Bash
Britney Spears held a playdate at her Studio City, Calif., home last week when her 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears brought her almost 3-month-old daughter Maddie to Los Angeles for the first time.
According to People magazine, Maddie "played" with her cousins Sean Preston and Jayden James for a few hours. Brit’s ex-hubby Kevin Federline even joined in for the family fun and reportedly stayed for an hour before taking the boys back to his home in the Valley.
Brit also spent her Saturday playing proud mom by throwing a car/truck-themed birthday bash for her baby boys at close friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif's Los Angeles mansion.
Spears' parents, Jamie Lynne and Maddie attended along with Gwen Stefani's son Kingston and Jenny McCarthy's youngster, Evan. The kids drove around on designer mini-motorsized cars, People reported.
Supermodel Marisa Miller Getting 'Angel' Wings
As first announced by Pop Tarts last week, Maxim magazine's No. 1 sex kitten Marisa Miller is being officially inducted as a Victoria's Secret Angel in New York next Tuesday.
In addition to the multi-million dollar contract, private planes and racy runway shows aside, we're told Miller has been given the honor of being the face (or shall we say body) of the company's 2008 SWIM collection. But the Californian-born beach babe has plans to do a little more than simply strut in a swimsuit...
"I'd love to design my own swim collection for them (VS)," Miller recently told Pop Tarts. "Heidi (Klum) does the lipsticks, I would love to one day do the bikinis."

Lauren Conrad reportedly earns around $75,000 per episode of her hit reality show “The Hills," not to mention a running rate of $20,000 to turn up to a party. Meanwhile, Pop Tarts spotted L.C.’s former friend and co-star Heidi Montag making her way into the luxe Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Friday with her sister Holly following in the SUV directly behind. When the siblings arrived, they acted surprised to see each other and exchanged excited hugs in the lobby — seriously, where is the script?
