LOS ANGELES – Police say one man has been killed and three people are injured in a suspected gang-related shooting near downtown Los Angeles.
Officer Karen Smith says the four victims were leaving a party early Sunday when a gunman in a sport utility vehicle opened fire. She says the shooting was believed to be gang related.
Police say some of the victims returned fire.
Smith says two of the four were taken to hospitals in critical condition, but the man died several hours later.
The two other wounded victims are hospitalized in stable condition.
