GONZALES, La. – State troopers chased a nude driver from East Baton Rouge Parish to Ascension Parish after the man tried to hit them with his pickup truck.
Sergeant Markus L- Smith said troopers have no idea why the man was naked.
The chase began early Monday morning on Airline Highway and ended when the driver, 25-year-old Bryan Batulis Junior of Jennings crashed in a ditch near Gonzales.
Batulis faces three counts of attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, two counts of aggravated flight from an officer, one count of resisting arrest, one count of driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance, and two counts of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
