The family of a missing Florida toddler clashed with unruly protesters on their lawn early Thursday morning, at one point turning a garden hose on the demonstrators.

The brawl began when protesters banged on the garage door and threw rocks and pennies at the home of little Caylee Anthony's grandparents, where the child's mother Casey Anthony is on house arrest, according to MyFOXOrlando.com.

That's when Casey Anthony's father George came outside to confront the demonstrators, one of whom grabbed his shirt during the scuffle.

His wife Cindy walked in between them with a baseball bat to try to break up the fight — but to no avail, so George Anthony turned on the garden hose and sprayed the protesters until they left his lawn, MyFOXOrlando.com said.

George Anthony said he is filing charges against the demonstrators.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office received two 911 calls about the brouhaha at the Anthony home, according to MyFOXOrlando.com.

The first came in just after midnight in which it was reported that someone was throwing rocks at the house. The second was placed about 1:30 a.m. by Casey Anthony, who informed dispatchers that her parents had been struck by the protesters.

No arrests have yet been made.

Casey Anthony, 22, is considered a suspect in her daughter's disappearance.

She was released from jail again on Tuesday, only hours after appearing in court on check fraud charges unrelated to Caylee's disappearance.

Anthony has been in and out of jail since mid-July when she reported Caylee missing more than a month after the girl was last seen.

She has been charged with child neglect and making false statements to investigators in her daughter's disappearance.

Police say they believe Caylee, whose third birthday was Aug. 9, is dead based on forensic evidence of a decomposing body, and DNA matching that of the toddler, found in Anthony's car.
