BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A massive apartment fire Tuesday in Irondale, Georgia, was ruled accidental.
An investigation determined the fire started in a laundry dryer unit because too much lint accumulated in the vent, according to Chief Randy Davis.
The blaze destroyed 20 apartments.
A firefighter and a resident were treated for minor injuries.
