LANSING, Mich. – Northwest Airlines says there were no injuries among the 91 people on board a Northwest jet that slid off a snowy runway in Lansing, Michigan Wednesday evening.
The jet had landed after a flight from Detroit.
Runway conditions prompted Northwest to cancel three other flights between Lansing and Detroit. The airline says bad weather in general Wednesday grounded more than three dozen flights altogether, most of them through its Detroit hub.
