HOUSTON – Houston police say they've taken a 13-year-old boy into custody after the boy led them and Montgomery and Harris county deputies on a two-county car chase.
Montgomery County deputies say the car was reported stolen before dawn today from his girlfriend's home in Willis. They say they spotted the car a short time later, but the driver refused to stop.
The chase went 50 miles south on Interstate 45 to near Hobby Airport before the car crashed into a concrete barrier.
Police say the boy will face charges of felony evading arrest in a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
