Tragedy in West Virginia. We’re live tonight at the site of the horrific explosion that took the lives of 12 workers at the Sago Mine. As families express outrage over miscommunication of mistaken information, learning through rumor that the trapped miners were initially alive, investigators begin to piece together what happened to cause the deadly blast. Geraldo Rivera was with the families throughout the night as the drama unfolded. He’ll be here with that part of the story.

And, over the past four years, federal mining inspectors documented a litany of problems at the Sago Mine. Were these safety violations ignored? We’ll ask a former director of the National Mine Health and Safety Academy.

Then, as the mine’s safety record comes into play, do the families of the fallen have a potential lawsuit on their hands? Tim Bailey, an attorney who represents injured miners, will be here.
