Girl, 10, Can Finally Walk After Breaking Legs 30 Times

A 10-year-old girl who has broken her legs 30 times can finally play on the trampoline and walk after doctors inserted metal rods, London’s Daily Mail reported.

Without the titanium rods, Caitlin Gault’s legs would snap – she was born with a rare genetic disease in which her bones don’t produce enough collagen.

Her legs broke six times when she was in her mother’s womb and once during childbirth. Doctors had told her parents their daughter would never crawl, and now she is able to bounce on a trampoline.

As Caitlin gets older and grows, her rods will need to be replaced. However, she will still need the help of a walker.
