Farrah Fawcett’s son, Redmond O’Neal, in jail for drug-related charges, has been granted permission to attend his mother’s funeral Tuesday.

O’Neal, 24, has been given three hours freedom from Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, Calif., but only to attend the service, Entertainment Tonight reported. He is also permitted to wear civilian clothes, but must remain under close supervision of a sheriff.

His family is responsible for his security and transportation fees, Entertainment Tonight said.

Fawcett’s private funeral will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in downtown L.A., MyFoxLA.com reported.
