Six people were injured after an elevator inside London's Tower Bridge malfunctioned and dropped about 30 feet, according to reports.
The elevator on the north tower got stuck at around lunchtime Monday, prompting a call to emergency services, the Times of London reported. London Police arrived at the scene and closed the busy road bridge to all traffic.
"We responded because it is an external structure," a police spokesman told the Times of London. "A number of people have been trapped."
