California Cops Hunt Suspects in College Cheerleader's Death

The distraught family of a college student gunned down while in her car in Los Angeles Friday morning is appealing to the public for information in bringing the woman’s killer, or killers, to justice.

Brittani Idom, 18, was driving home from a club when a single bullet went through the back of her car, striking her in the head, reported.

She had just finished her first year at Glendale Community College, where she was a cheerleader.

Her family held a news conference and a vigil within hours of Idom’s death.

“If anybody knows anything about what happened to my baby, please let me know” said Idom’s stepfather, Reggie Mason, fighting tears.

Believing that there were witnesses to the shooting, a $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
