"Big Story" staffers Pilar and Amber experience a can't-make-this-up greenroom encounter, as recapped by Pilar.

The great thing about the FOX News greenroom is that you never know who will bump into whom. If you work here long enough, unusual encounters are a dime a dozen. But yesterday I witnessed by far one of the most bizarre introductions ever.

Imagine this: A greenroom with legendary rock star Bret Michaels — lead singer of Poison and star of VH1's “Rock of Love” — complete with FOX News groupies flashing cameras, and a couple of "Big Story" producers. We are all kicking back, listening to stories about parties on Bret's tour bus, the tapings of his reality show and… other things that I won't mention here. The greenroom is packed, and we are loudly having a good time.

All of a sudden the door to the greenroom bursts open, and who do you think walks in? The Rev. Jesse Jackson, along with four other large gentlemen in (really nice) suits. The room went silent. Bret was finishing up his laugh, and when he realized who was in the room he went silent, too. Rev. Jackson takes a few steps into the greenroom, takes a look around the room, examines Bret and extends his hand.

"Hi, I'm Bret."

They shake hands. The Reverend is silent. Walks over to a FOX producer.

"Hi, I'm Sam," says Sam, a FOX producer.

The Reverend is silent. Walks over to Amber and me.

"Pilar. It's a pleasure to meet you," I say. "Amber, I work on 'The Big Story'," Amber says.

The Reverend is silent and so is everyone else! Tick, tock, tick, tock. Weird!

It was great. You should have been there. Seriously, there should have been a video camera in the room. It was a moment I hope will go down in greenroom history.

And there you have it: the greatest moment thus far in greenroom A. It really doesn't get any better.
