A Lake County judge denied bond Saturday for a man charged in the death of a Wisconsin woman whose body was found at the Burger King restaurant where she worked.

James Ealy, 42, of Lake Villa was being held at the Lake County Jail, according to a jail spokeswoman.

Ealy was arrested and charged Friday with first-degree homicide in the death of Mary Hutchison, 45, of Trevor, Wis., which is about 10 miles north of the restaurant.

Ealy is married and is employed as a "service worker" at an "area fast-food and department store," police said in a statement.

Another employee who had just come to work found Hutchison's body at about 5:15 a.m. on Monday, police have said. They said her death appeared to be related to a robbery.

Ealy's telephone number in Lake Villa was unlisted. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Lindenhurst is about 50 miles north of Chicago.

Until Hutchison's killing, there hadn't been a homicide in the community since Sept. 28, 1997, when a 62-year-old woman was stabbed 65 times inside her home.
