Richard Roden may be 71-years-old — but he says he feels 20 years younger since welcoming his twin daughters Emily and Ruby into the world more than eight-months ago.
He’s now thought to be Britain's oldest father of twins.
Roden was already a father of 10 from two previous marriages when his 25-year old wife Lisa became pregnant.
"It's easier this time around as I've had plenty of practice with children," he said.
Roden said he is still getting used to the looks of amazement from strangers when he explains the girls are his children, not grandchildren. And the proud father said he’s not done yet.
"We are going to try for a boy in two years' time," he said. "I've only got three lads, so I'd like another son."
