A victim of a triple murder in east Texas tried to phone for help but never completed the call.

Angelina County Sheriff Kent Henson on Monday said three capital murder counts were filed against 45-year-old Raymond Wilson II in a case where "they had all been drinking."

Henson says Wilson apparently was upset Sunday night that his girlfriend, 42-year-old Lisa Zumwalt, called him to say she had a sexual encounter with the other two people.

Henson told The Associated Press that gunfire at the mobile home near Lufkin also killed 65-year-old Douglas Wade Ashley and 47-year-old Sherry Wood.

Henson says "the girlfriend had dialed the sheriff's office number," which was on the phone when deputies arrived, but apparently was shot before completing the call.

Wilson was caught at a relative's home and a gun was recovered.
