2-Year-Old Shoots Herself With Dad's Gun

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 2-year-old Orlando girl is recovering from a gunshot wound after she got a hold of her dad's gun.

Orange County sheriff's deputies charged Edd Jeffery Taylor, of Orlando, with aggravated child neglect and leaving a firearm within access of a minor after his daughter was injured Saturday.

The girl was airlifted to a hospital with a gunshot wound to her right hip in serious condition.

Taylor said he left the girl in her chair while he went to the bathroom and heard a gunshot. When he came back, he found her bleeding.
