COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 15-year-old is set to become the youngest student ever to get a bachelor's degree from Ohio State.
The boy from Hilliard — Arie Hadipriono Tan (AH'-ree HAH'-dee-pree-oh-noh TAN) — will graduate on Sunday with honors in molecular genetics.
His parents say he's been reading since the age of two and taking classes at the university since he was 12.
He hopes to get his braces off this summer.
He'll continue at O-S-U at the graduate level, studying either biological sciences or biochemistry.
His father is a civil-engineering professor at Ohio State.
And his 13-year-old brother started at Ohio State this spring.
