Yankees agree to terms with first-round pick

The New York Yankees agreed to terms with pitcher Ty Hensley, the team's first-round pick in the 2012 draft, on Friday.

Hensley, who was selected with the 30th overall pick, went 10-0 with a 1.52 ERA in 11 games as a senior with Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Oklahoma.

"I'm excited that I get to join such a prestigious organization with so much history and tradition," Hensley said. "I'm lucky to have this opportunity, and I'm looking forward to getting my professional career going and getting to the big leagues as quickly as possible."
