Yaegashi beats Sosa to keep belt

Tokyo, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Akira Yaegashi retained his WBC flyweight belt with a unanimous decision over Edgar Sosa on Friday.

The 30-year-old Yaegashi (19-3), making his second title defense, won by scores of 117-111 on two cards and 116-112 on the other.

Sosa (49-8) is a former holder of the WBC title at 108 pounds.
