(SportsNetwork.com) - The WNBA and its players' union have agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement.

Terms of the deal, which has not yet been finalized, were not revealed.

"The WNBA and WNBPA are pleased to announce an agreement in principle on a new collective bargaining agreement," said WNBA president Laurel J. Richie in a statement. "Over the next week to 10 days, we will be working together to complete the written agreement."

Various reports have indicated the deal is for six years. It will replace the previous CBA that expired last September.
