The Washington Wizards won the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft lottery Tuesday, giving them the opportunity to select Kentucky guard John Wall next month.

The Philadelphia 76ers got the No. 2 pick, following by the team with the worst record in the league, the New Jersey Nets.

The draft lottery determines the top three picks of the draft, with the teams slotted in by record after that.

The Wizards and Sixers each moved into the top three after finishing with the fifth and sixth worst records, respectively.

The Timberwolves and Kings were bumped out of the top three.
