New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Washington Wizards guard John Wall was fined $15,000 for directing inappropriate comments towards the officials.

The announcement came from Rod Thorn, the president of basketball operations of the NBA.

Wall made the comments at the finish of Washington's 98-85 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday at Verizon Center. Wall was upset at a foul call on him while Charlotte's Kemba Walker was shooting a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter. Wizards coach Randy Wittman was given a technical foul for arguing the call and Walker made all four foul shots.
