Reid had sustained a similar injury at the start of the season and will now miss the next few weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage.
Manager Roy Hodgson doesn't fear that the injury is too serious, and is thankful to have options in place of Reid with both Billy Jones and Gabriel Tamas returning from injury.
Reid has started 21 games in the league for the Baggies this season, scoring one goal.
