The Wear twins are leaving North Carolina after just one season.
David and Travis Wear -- forwards from Southern California who spent this past season in Chapel Hill, have opted to transfer out of Roy Williams' program.
The news was first reported by the Long Beach Press-Telegram .
The Wears were McDonald's All-Americans, but many recruiting experts weren't sold whether they would be able to excel at North Carolina.
David Wear averaged 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while Travis averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 boards per contest this past season for a Tar Heels team that wound up making the NIT.
