Top seed Stanislas Wawrinka was an easy quarterfinal victor Friday at the Moroccan Grand Prix tennis event.

The 2010 Casablanca champion waltzed past Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-1, 6-2 in a mere 59 minutes on the red clay at Complexe Al Amal.

Wawrinka's semifinal opponent on Saturday will be 2001 Casablanca runner-up Tommy Robredo, as the former world No. 5 from Spain ousted fourth-seeded Frenchman Benoit Paire 7-6 (7-4), 2-6, 6-0 in 1 hour, 50 minutes on Day 5.

Meanwhile, second-seeded Kevin Anderson cruised past eighth-seeded Slovenian Grega Zemlja 6-4, 6-4 and third seed Martin Klizan handled seventh-seeded Dutchman Robin Haase 7-5, 6-1 to reach the final four.

The 6-foot-8 South African Anderson, who starred collegiately at the University of Illinois, will battle the rising Slovak Klizan in the other semi.

The winner of this $525,000 tournament will earn $96,000. Casablanca marks the lone African stop on the ATP World Tour.
