The Golden State Warriors signed center Jermaine O'Neal to a contract Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of the pact were not released.

O'Neal appeared in 55 games (four starts) for the Phoenix Suns last season and averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.42 blocks per contest.

The 17-year veteran owns career averages of 13.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.84 blocks in 967 regular-season games (684 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns.

O'Neal was named to six consecutive All-Star squads as a member of the Pacers from 2002-07 and was selected as the NBA's Most Improved Player in 2001-02.
