Michael Vick did not practice Wednesday because of broken ribs, and it's uncertain whether the Philadelphia quarterback will be available when the Eagles visit the New York Giants on Sunday night.

"He is going to take it day-by-day and see how he does," Eagles head coach Andy Reid said.

Vick missed three games last season with a rib injury.

In nine games this season, Vick has thrown for 2,193 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He's also has rushed for 535 yards.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (shoulder, hamstring), cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) and offensive lineman King Dunlap (concussion) also sat out practice Wednesday.
