New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Yale running back Tyler Varga was named the Ivy League's offensive player of the player and Harvard defensive end Zack Hodges and Princeton linebacker Mike Zeuli shared defensive player of the year honors on Monday.

Ivy players of the year annually receive the Asa S. Bushnell Cup. All three are seniors.

Varga brings Yale its ninth Bushnell Cup recognition and he's the eighth different Bulldog to receive the honor. The first-team All-Ivy selection scored a school-record 26 total touchdowns and averaged 6.1 yards per carry and 142 yards per game.

In voting among the league's eight head coaches, Varga received the Bushnell Cup over Dartmouth junior quarterback Dalyn Williams.

Hodges was honored with the Bushnell Cup for the second consecutive season. He earned his third selection to the All-Ivy first team and recorded a league-high 8.5 sacks for the league champion Crimson.

Zeuli led the league with 16.5 tackles for loss, ranked second with 8.7 tackles per game and tied for fifth with four sacks.
