Lethabong, South Africa (SportsNetwork.com) - Ulrich van den Berg carded a 5- under 67 on Sunday to claim a 5-stroke victory at the BMG Classic.

Van den Berg, who earned his seventh career win on the Sunshine Tour, finished the tournament at 15-under-par 201.

The second round at Glendower Golf Club had to be completed Sunday morning after Saturday's play was suspended due to thunderstorms in the area, and van den Berg sat a stroke behind leader Hennie Otto when the second round was finished.

That margin increased to three when the final round got underway and Otto birdied the second before van den Berg bogeyed the fifth.

Van den Berg bounced back with four straight gains from the sixth to make the turn at 13-under and grab a share of the lead with Otto, who countered a bogey at the sixth with an eagle at the eighth to also turn at minus-13.

Otto fell apart from there, however, as he opened his inward nine with a double bogey at the 10th. He quickly got a stroke back with a birdie at the 11th, but he gave that right back with a bogey at the 12th and later dropped a shot at the 17th to finish at 10-under.

Van den Berg, meanwhile, recorded three birdies in a four-hole stretch from the 13th to move to 16-under. A bogey at the 17th halted his momentum, but he was still able to cruise to the easy victory.

Titch Moore (70) finished alongside Otto (73) in second place at 10-under 206, while Colin Nel (70) and Merrick Bremner (72) shared fourth at 8-under.
